A moment of peace

After a mindfulness practice yesterday, the teacher shared this poem with us. It struck a chord in me because it is so easy to fall a victim to an ever spinning world of constant demands and someone else’s agendas. It takes a conscious choice and personal agency to shift from I am busy to I choose to be committed; from there is no time to religiously creating and guarding space for the people and activities that matter.

Excited to be listening to Mark Thompson, described as the World’s #1 CEO coach, and Jim Kim, the 12th president of the World Bank, talking about leadership, coaching and lessons learned.

Today’s training was about a soft skill that you can turn into your superpower for creating deeper personal and professional relationships. It is the essence of any real connection. Can you guess which skill it is?

Not the typical #summerreading by the pool, but this book is an absolute gem for every coach interested in #developmentalcoaching
